I had the opportunity to see U2 at ASU on the Joshua Tree / Rattle & Hum tour in 1987.

And then again in LA on the Zoo TV Tour (the second night).

Both times, friends purchased tickets for me, I could have easily afforded the travel, and I had plenty of places to stay. Didn't go because of what I thought were "adult responsibilities."
