I had a nice chuckle seeing these posts back to back. :-) And the fact that everything is so close is a major draw to spending a few weeks there.

From watching Top Gear for many years I've seen how easy and short the trip is from England to Spain or France or Italy or even Germany.
And I did forget that they have a fantastic transit system between countries so getting around there would be easier than getting around here as we don't even have sidewalks in a lot of our cities.
