I don't see how McCarthy gets something that both the hardliners and Biden would accept.
The margin is so thin that without the hardliners he's going to need to pull over some Democrats.
If he pulls over some Democrats, he's going to face a vote to remove him as Speaker.
The only way he would keep his Speaker role is if he gets the Democrats to agree to vote to keep him as Speaker.
If he cooperates with Democrats, he's screwed politically.
This might be more difficult to get around than usual.
