The Electric Daisy Carnival is on its way back to Las Vegas to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

But with all the EDC fun there are some concerns.
In 2017 a man died after complaining of heat-related issues EDC officials responded in part. And a woman in 2016 a woman died after suffering from a heat stroke and dehydration, there were also drugs in her system.
"They're not used to the heat here. And it takes a while to get used to that and your body to adjust to that and thrusting yourself into staying up all night. Partying all day just catches up to everybody,” said Dr. Patel.
Doctor Ketan Patel at university medical center says he and other doctors around the valley prepare for e-d-c for months. Some of the plans include organizing 24-hour field crews and developing exit strategies in case of an emergency.
