Dems just flipped the mayor's office in Jacksonville, Florida. This was the most populous city with a GOP mayor anywhere in the country. No more.

(Largest by area outside of Alaska!) Yeah, I think part of why it's a surprise is because the metro area population is way further down the list.

All correct. The list I saw with Jsx #13 was only considering formal city boundary, not MSA -- nm

I honestly don't think I'd have a reasonable guess for 12th. I could maybe do 5 if you go by metro area. by technical city limits it gets weird. -- nm
