I’m inclined to agree that they shouldn’t be able to hire the police. Frankly, if there’s a threat, police protection should be free.

If there isn’t a threat, then - yes - they should be allowed to hire their own *private* security. Where’s the line? Should Elton John be allowed to hire the police?
