that is 100% inaccurate. Film sets, street festivals, etc etc all hire off-duty police for events. Not sure if it works for individuals, but police

*off duty* police offices are *private* security. I get what they want. They want cops. But you can’t just request cops.

Yeah. Someone with the authority to do something once lines are crossed. Private security takes out a cameraman that’s just more photos. Cop does it
