We bought some wire shelving units for a makeshift pantry in the kitchen. I dislike how stuff tips between the wires. -- nm

We have wire in our pantry. We just put down shelf liner, the semi-flexible plastic kind. -- nm

This is similar to what we used. It lets the light through so it doesn't make the pantry feel dark. We got our stuff at Walmart. -- (link)
