So that apparent car chase with Harry and Megan lasted 10 minutes and not 2 hours. The cabbie picked them up off the street, they were followed by -- (edited)

paparazzi who were taking pictures and video every second they could and so they directed the cabbie to take them to the precinct which he did. They didn't want to be followed back to where they were staying. He said it wasn't a scary ride just outrageous and they were friendly but quiet during the ride.

It didn't make sense when the story came out yesterday as car chases don't really happen much in the city as you can't get far before hitting traffic or a light. Also, 2 hours would get you far from Manhattan. You can get way out on Long Island or deep into NJ if you drove for 2 hours.
