Who wants to hear about the funny but slightly embarassing comedy of errors last night that led to the fire department showing up at the Disney home?

We recently got a home security system. No specific reason, it was a package thing with out phones and low priced. First time ever having one.
Last night, steam from the shower set off the smoke detector. We managed to get the alarm system turned off but I did not know that I need to pick up a call from the security system company to let them know its a false alarm and was not paying attention to my phone. Because we did not call them or pick up their call, about six minutes later two fire engines are at our door wanting to make sure everything is all right. They understood the scenario and were chill about it. I assume its better to be a silly call the first time then a real fire. We had to explain the whole scenario to them and I know a few neighbours came out to check. I am sure both my and Mrs Disney's face were very red.
So we felt a little silly after all of it but we at least know what's supposed to happen in future. I already contacted the security company this morning and know what to do in future if the alarm goes off again.
How many years old and still figuring out this adulting thing :)
