when I had cable. Sure, I didn't watch 98% of the shows or channels but everything I did watch was nice and easily accessible on the DVR.

Today I have to search to remember where a show I like is streaming and even worse is that I just forget about shows if I have a busy a week and don't watch for a while. That's where having a DVR wins. I don't have to remember ever single show I'm watching because the DVR remembers for me.
