I do agree with her that it shouldn't be 18 months between seasons.

But I don't know how often that is the case, and it's an issue with some cable shows and a few network shows.
A lot of the other issues have simple fixes. Forgot the previous season, if there isn't a recap before the show then look for one on YouTube. Afraid of missing season 2, put it on your list. When you don't log in for a while, check your list for what you haven't seen. Miss an entire season of Succession, subscribe to HBO and use a dvr. Streaming could do things better, every service could improve somewhere. That said, so.e of those issues are of the viewers own making.
