I'm going to start a watch party with a few fraternity brothers who have never watched The Simpsons. Or Futurama.

Which seasons of each show should we start with? And I'm basically a casual viewer of The Simpsons, so I'll basically be starting afresh with that show.

I want to start at the beginning of a season, but don't care which one. Then, after a few to several weeks, we might start skipping past the poor to mediocre episodes. If we run across any. Such as they are.
