I saw that earlier on reddit. The catcher made a terrible mistake and both him and the 2nd baseman will have nightmares about that play. -- (edited)

When the catcher looks back at the ump he signals safe and yet the catcher still goes and jumps on the pitcher as if they'd won. The poor 2nd baseman knew what was happening the whole time and was trying desperately to get someone to recognize the situation and to try and get the ball to tag someone out or stop the runs. Sadly for him the catcher put the ball in his pocket to save it as a souvenir and now it's a terrible memory of a game lost on a ridiculous play.
