I haven't started watching this year, but sounds like they doubled down on the worst parts of Season 2. (spoils)

Nothing has consequences if you can milk a Full House moral from it.
Last year, Rebecca is worried about money and sponsorships...Sam (and Jamie) do the social justice thing to piss off their main sponsor...should be a huge deal right?
Nope, not even barely an inconvenience. By the next episode, they got Bantr as the main sponsor. That was lazy as fuck.
Even the West Wing in later seasons didn't resort to such easy solutions. "Hey guys, we solved the Mid East peace talks!"
