Yeah and I'm not a fan of that after Book / Movie 5.

Rowling's creation was epic in scale becuase all the themes come together perfectly into the perfect storm of evil vs goodness.
As it is, I think they've mitigated Voldemort's threat into something minor through this point after having him be so great in Goblet of Fire. "Kill the other." = brutal evil yummyness.
In the movie, they made Fenrir useless, and didn't convey anythign close to the overwhelming dread of the coming civil war that permeates the book.
You coulda had the Minister of Magic on screen for 1 minute and had things mean so much more, imo.
