I think I've told this story before but it may be new to some. Daughter spent her first two school years in a school right off Coldwater Canyon -

Her best buddy was a boy who lived up the other side of Ventura Blvd in the Hollywood Hills.
Waiting outside school with other parents, boyfriend's mom says "I hear our kids were benched the other day"
"Oh, why was that?"
"I guess they wrote 'fuck' on the playground in chalk"
Immediate reaction "Did they spell it right?"
I don't think she ever spoke to me again :-)
