1. Last day of Mac's junior year. She'll be home from having taken her last test in about an hour, and then technically she'll be a senior. I pointed out to her that since seniors' classes end before Memorial day, today's the last day of June that she'll ever be in high school
2. This time tomorrow, we'll be on the road driving her down south for her 5-weekk summer program at the college she wants to go to. She's been away from home for a few weeks at a time, but always with family - never completely on her own. We say goodbye to her Sunday, on Father's Day.
3. At noon we have our pre-construction meeting with our contractors. We're doing extensive work on the main floor of our house. This is long, long, long overdue and will be pretty dang pricey, but we've been saving up for this for 15 years. It will be chaotic for the ~8 weeks that work's being done, but it will significantly transform the main level.
It's....a *lot* all at once.
