fireplace and reverse cycle A/C. I'll run the reverse cycle in daylight when the solar pays for it, and the fireplace kind of sucks.

we're replacing the fireplace before next winter with a proper wood stove. the real problem is the lack of insulation. fine, run the heater, but turn it off and it's cold five minutes later.
