issues like that of the unregulated and cheap ones. I mean, who could have thought that unregulated and untested batteries could be a problem? /s
CitiBike has a lot of e-bikes and once they made the change in battery suppliers they haven't had any problems. It's the cheap, unregulated batteries that are causing the fires. There needs to be checks to make sure stores aren't selling bikes and scooters with the bad batteries. Good regulations, a buy back/exchange program and enforcement is necessary to stop this from continuing to happen.
