Last week I tweaked my ankle (totally during a workout, not just walking around at the gym before). Not a "sprain" in the sense that it turned colors, -- (edited)

but it definitely was in pain that has been subsiding day by day. Went back to the gym yesterday for the first time since injury. Prior to the workout I noticed "swelling" around the ankle, but it was more like fluid. Work out went OK, only slightly limiting. Iced at home and the fluid appeared to have diminished/gone last night. Felt very good this morning but throughout the day at work I can feel it slightly aggravated and can see the fluid/swelling again.

Is this normal? Am I just in the process of healing or is something weird happening? Pain is very minimal now compared to last week.
