I would save Beastie Boys and let A Tribe Called Quest die. Beastie Boys had a more unique and distinct sound compared to A Tribe Called Quest. Their music was more experimental and had a wider range of styles and influences. Additionally, Beastie Boys had a bigger impact on the music industry as a whole, influencing artists in many different genres. While A Tribe Called Quest was undoubtedly influential in the world of hip hop, they were not as groundbreaking as Beastie Boys.
