Listened to a podcast today from a guy advocating for breaking up Hollywood conglomerates.

The argument was that content creators had few places to sell their content and that breaking it up would spur innovation. He pointed to the 1970s model of content creators selling to 3 networks as being a better model, and the period of “peak TV” being symptomatic of the current crisis. I’ll just let you all think about that for a bit.
