There's this very famous rapper named Flavor Flav. He is well known for wearing a clock around his neck. He's been wearing one since the '80s.

This tweet says that Rihanna is the first person to wear a time piece around the neck. Flavor Flav replied to the post but it was cut off by the screenshot though it wasn't really necessary as just seeing his Twitter handle is enough to remind everyone that he wore one first and for decades.
