The Magic Dock and the Tesla App are a start, but the issue is that each brand of car can have wildly different specs

for how it charges. How may amps, what type of handshake to start the charge, etc.

That's why either CCS or NACS needed to become *the* standard. Gets every car using the same tech to communicate and deliver a charge.

I know some of the 3rd party systems have struggled with that.
