The housing first policy has been a complete failure in LA. Addiction and mental illness have to be addressed. The Gov. had a law passed making it

easier for families to get conservatorships and require treatment for family members, but it's going to be overturned. It's so out if control. The shelters are full of people with mental illness/addiction who are violent and committing sexual assaults, so people without those isdues and especially those with children, don't want to go there. Thanks tax cuts fir the rich and trickle down economics.
