Was it here or did I read elsewhere? Someone said that the problem with streaming is that the tech/software guys are running it. Not movie/creative

So, it's being run like tech companies instead of studios.
Also, part of the problem is that they are stuck in the you've got spend big money to make big money paradigm. I think studios did better when they had an array movies made at different budgets. Yeah a smaller movie wouldn't make as much, but they more often turned a profit than a big budget movie and new ideas and stories had a chance to get out there. Also a money problem.
I think there is still money to be made at the smaller/lower end but the people at the top don't have the will to try.
