Belle didn't get deferred and the Orioles were on the hook for like $12mil total from that after insurance payouts.

5yr/65mil -- he 'retired' the last 3 years so $39mil of which insurance paid 70% so 11.7mil of 'dead money'.
Shit, the Nationals are paying Max Scherzer $15mil a year until 2028 since they turned a 7yr/210m deal into a 14yr/15mil a year deal to save money for the Lerner's to sell.
