but I was able to upgrade it to the "red" hyperdrive and get the center. Ran out of time this weekend but will repeat in the 2nd galaxy (already @ 5K LY) and once in Calypso I will see about doing something new like getting a living ship or something

I died in my 30+ hour game so I had to start over. This portal method is much faster

the living ship storyline is a bit of a slog as you have multiple steps that include waiting for 24 hours each time - decline Jul 5, 11:25 2
- that's on my list too. I only wish I could figure out a way to "pre-save" games in Calypso so that if I die permadeath I don't have to do - oblique 🌈 Jul 5, 11:32 1
