Never had a veggie stand-off in my house, on the other hand they were usually out of a can and boiled for 30 minutes. So if it was fresh good.

I liked salads. And the fresh veggies we never turned our noses up over was fresh farm grown tomatoes and corn. Fruit was not cooked so that was good too. Then there was the lettuce on the PB&J sandwiches.
