there's no way around Sat A.M. check-in jams on the island bridges but they move fast usually. can you drive halfway Fri nite?

usually what my folks would do when coming down to Emerald Isle from Maryland
the real incentive for getting onto the island before the check-in traffic is hitting up the Food Lion before your place opens up and beating the shopper rush
