I have not slept well the last two nights due to needing to get up an urinate. Either I have diabetes now, or my body is confused without alcohol.

Two hour sleep-wake-pee cycles seem normal to me. Also, I'm old. -- nm

It actually is just about every two hours. Very annoying. I guess "old" should be one of the considerations.

Since it just started happening I'd assume it's because of the changes in your habits. Make sure you go to the bathroom before you go to bed.

Thanks! I'm sure it's the change in my bad habits. Everything else seems to be fine. -- nm

I'm sure you're right. Increased hydration has benefits but more frequent micturition is the price.

Have you tried melatonin? Helps me get to sleep at night but I think it also has a positive effect on the urge to pee -- (edited)

I may give that a shot, thanks for the suggestion. I'm also still intaking fluids like I was before to help offset dehydration, so I probably need to

I suggest just waiting a week or so for your body to flush out everything and to adjust to your new lifestyle.
