They play into the t&a especially with their YouTube thumbnails, but it's at least as many guys as girls surfing - and there's dogs! They're not surfing. They're just on the beach. But now I want to see dogs surfing. Someone make it so.
Many of the surfers are recurring and some wave to the camera as they pass by so I imagine there's some understanding here that they're being filmed. It could be just 2 hours straight of people surfing and the sound of waves crashing. It's great to just have on as background noise.
I suppose, in the context of Jonah Hill, here's a bunch of fit young people playing in the surf. If you're a nearly-40-year-old guy, overweight and not very attractive, and your girlfriend is one of those people playing in the surf, I certainly see the insecurities he has. Heck, I can relate... because reasons.
