And I also agree that making the texts public could help other people who are being gaslit by their toxic partners.

When I was a younger woman out in the dating world, I had to make those calls to my friends - checking in and making sure that the person I care about wasn't trying to mindf*ck me. These texts - exposed this way are like those check-ins and might help someone realize they need to get out.
