For me there are two - a cherry pitter and a pineapple corer/slicer.
Tonight's dessert - cherries and diced mango topped with yogurt and tropical trail mix.

Ice cream scoop. It makes scooping the ice cream so much easier than just with a spoon, especially if the ice cream is hard. -- nm

I go with cherry pitter as well. It’s so satisfying to use. -- nm

Old school vegetable peeler. Simple design, does its job well. The ones that have been gussied up (OXO and the like) add nothing -- nm

If appliances count as tools, rice cooker. Otherwise, I don't know. Maybe my cord-pulling dicer. -- nm
