IIUC, it was mostly the very high end stuff sitting that triggered the "lots are full". And used car prices dropped across the board.

Some dealers are sitting on unsold EVs. Those are the crap EVs nobody wants.
Most EVs are selling faster than they can be made, though the dealer model obscures that for most makes and models.
For 1st Quarter 2023, the Tesla Model Y was the best selling car in the world. Not of EVs, of all cars. That doesn't sound like no one is buying EVs.
