Company is a classic Sondheim musical. I haven't seen the touring production yet (it is part of our upcoming season) but I have watched the pro-shot production with Neil Patrick Harris. It's a good show about what love and family can mean for different people. Although there aren't any songs that would stand out for non-Broadway fans (nothing that went particularly mainstream), it's Sondheim - the music is very good.

Jagged Little Pill is the polar opposite in some ways. It's a jukebox musical, so you're likely to know all of the music. As jukebox shows go, they did a reasonable job of fitting the songs to the story. The story can be very ham-handed with its message. However, there are several scenes that are very well done and have stuck with me.

I'm not familiar with that particular Cirque show, though I like Cirque in general.
