LIR food allergies, both my GF's kids have peanut allergies. We just know there are some places we definitely cannot take them. Other places we just

tell the waiter. But with peanut I think it's way more common and accepted and they can work with it easier.

One of her kids has an egg allergy. But can have cakes and stuff an egg is part of. I still don't understand where the cutoff is for okay and not okay. So when we go to breakfast we just tell the waiter and normally it's all good. They just use a new spatula when making his food. The high temp of the grill seems to handle whatever it is in eggs that he reacts to normally.
