A. floors are grunt work but not requiring significant skills B. look for signs that it had been done before because you only have less 1/4"

a floor like that would need a belt sander and you'd take an 1/8th right off the top.
you don't have to make it pristine, esp those burn marks, you'll likely put a throw rug down etc.
but most likely getting pergo flooring would be much simplier, faster. rent/buy a table saw.
mark each end of the molding with tape/marker so you can pry it off the wall and remember which stick goes where. with the ends of the floor board getting hidden by the molding you don't have to be precise.
