Once a year there's something like this, remember the actor in Chicago? the teen girl in Tiawanda/ettawanda NY...a lot times its shame over drugs...

a woman disappears for a couple days, claiming she was kidnapped, turned out it was a lost weekend on crack... which can be described as that feeling when you spill a glass of milk...or see a car running the light in front of you and you can't move your feet to the brake... you just slide right in to it...now stretch that out for a few days or a week
