We see Olivia Colman pull out her gun and shoot him in the forehead, with purple blood splatter on the woman. Though if you mean shapeshifting back to Skrull, they may have filmed and cut that bit.

While I didn't feel much at all this episode (I think I could probably pick 'worse' episodes from other series), I was reminded that Talos was dead and my thought was "ugh, thank goodness I didn't have to hear him *emphasize* *every* *word* this episode."

Now if they would just kill off Kingsley Ben-Adir we might have something I'd pay attention to.
