I love being at the finish line for the final finishers. They're the ones where finishing may not have been a given at the start.

Sure the fast people are impressive, but they knew they were going to finish. I have volunteered to do breakdown at the end of multiple races which means being at the finish line for the last finishers. It's so much fun watching them cross the finish line.
