Define locally? We have very, very few mom and pop stores around here. Mostly just chain stuff. May as well buy on Amazon and save the money. -- nm

I have Prime for the movies and TV. We use Amazon for large things that I'm not taking on the subway or where shipping would cost us a lot.

Not only that but when you shop local that money tends to stay local and go back into the community. Most owners live near the area of their business
