Nolan's point of view influences my ability to enjoy the film he's made. (spoils)

I didn't come out of the film thinking Oppenheimer was an absolute monster. I came out wondering why Nolan chose to structure the story the way he did, and why he didn't give any visuals to what happened in Japan.

The idea that everything was in Oppenheimer's point of view isn't true. At least 1/3rd of the story was from Strauss's pov, and the ending shot was from space. He could have easily showed what happened to some degree. Not at least giving a count of the deaths in Japan as a pre-credit blurb seemed cold.
