This is the one we got. I don't know if there would be an issue in an air popper.

I did a quick read to see if there would be an issue and the only recommendation I saw was to turn on the air popper a few minutes before you plan to use it so it gets nice and hot.
I always make it in a pot on the stove, sorry.
