I haven't had any without any ghee to say if it tastes better or not. I'll make some plain popcorn using oil and see how it is.

I used to eat it plain but the ghee adds such a nice buttery flavor without making the popcorn soggy. No fat, no sog*, apparently.

*Not a real word
