sometimes i feel like we make things so hard for medical stuff

as I noted earlier in the week, I recently had an iv where they hit the nerves. since then (almost 2 weeks) the iv entry point on my arm is sensitive, pressing on it either makes it feel like electricity is shooting down my hand into a couple of fingers, or alterantively, like water is running down my hand.

I have also been getting random pain/discomfort. so at first it was "wait a week to see if it goes away" and now its "well, we need to have an EMG to make sure there is really nerve pain, and that is going to take a couple of weeks because they are all busy"

I feel like this is going to end with me having random nerve damage again, like I did after the last leg surgery, where I didnt realize that I had lost feeling in the area around the surgery (which still is that way 8 years later).
