He was the type of hitter at that age that people remember forever…you take that chance if you can get 2.5 years of him — not a rental.

The Hader trade is worse but they still had control but relievers are relievers. The list of guys you trust year over year over year is like 5 guys in our lifetimes. (Mo / Hoffman / Wagner …)

I get the why but they just haven’t panned out.
