Storage. I thought it was just a touch early too. He wasn't incapacitated but he was one good punch from going to the hospital, potentially for something serious. Spence reminded me of Hearns after Hagler tagged him in the head. He was way off balance and likely to stagger into a very very dangerous punch. That fight was going to end with Spence KO'ed.
I see fights like that get stopped as soon as it's not competitive and the other guy is taking punishment. There are fights that go on a bit longer or even fights that go on too long still. So it's not like all fights are stopped too early now. But it's definitely the new way of things. The blood lust part of me laments this. The caring human being beats up that blood lust part of me a few minutes later.
Nothing was stopping Bud.
