My daughter just did her first paying chore for a neighbor. Up to this point, she has had no real need for money, getting some here or there, piggy bank style.
Our neighbor asked her to water her plants while they were out of town for two weeks and we thought it would be a good idea. Well when they got back, she gave her $100 which was super generous.
Now we aren’t really sure what to do. That seems like a ton of money to just have in a piggy bank and we also don’t want her to feel like she should spend it all at once.
Open a savings account? Green light debit card? Thoughts?
